Computer Vision & Robotics Group

The Computer Vision and Robotics group explores machine autonomy and intelligence in uncertain and unstructured real-world environment. The research area includes a broad spectrum of topics such as modeling and recognition of real-world objects, active perception through human-machine interactions, human-computer interface and augmented reality, locomotion and navigation, visually-guided manipulation of physical objects, human assistive devices and autonomous design and construction of structures. By researching these enabling technologies, we envision to make complex real-world environment more accessible and tractable.
