Sue Tranter (neé Johnson)

I now work for Novauris Technologies. I worked for Cambridge as a research associate on MetaData Extraction from speech data (in particular speaker diarisation for broadcast news), as part of the project on Effective, Affordable Reusable Speech-to-Text (EARS) for 3 years. I worked in the Machine Intelligence Lab (formerly called Speech, Vision and Robotics (SVR) Group) in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge.

I previously worked on non-linear model-based predictive control in the control group in the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. Before that I worked for 3 years in the SVR group, on a project concerning MultiMedia Document Retrieval and recently was responsible for updating the MDR demo for the Cambridge Lab
