This page is presently under construction (09/03/04). Please watch this space for:
- An improved version of the original PhotoBuilder software. This software is designed to allow users interactively to recover models of the geometry and appearance of architectural scenes from uncalibrated photographs. By exploiting scene and map constraints, it is possible to recover large models using only a minimal amount of user intervention. An academic version of the improved software will be made publicly available soon.
- A software framework for constrained bundle adjustment. This framework has been implemented using object-oriented programming to avoid dependency on any concrete types of prediction, parameter, or constraint. Furthermore, a general-purpose sparse matrix core allows efficient solution of the normal equations, without the need to assume a block structure that is peculiar to a specific class of problem. This framework, including C++ source code, will be freely available.
