Nuance Speech Recognition System
- Platform: UNIX-based workstations including Sun and SGI.
- Description: The Nuance Recognizer features client-server
architecture with multiple recognizers available on a single processing
platform. Primarily developed for telephony-based applications, the
system accepts speaker-independent, continuous speech and supports very large
vocabularies. Included is a "template matching" natural language
capability for identifying the meaning of speech. A toolkit is available
for use in developing a wide variety of speech recognition applications.
